MARISCAL MARISCAL SUCRE ART CLUB (SAC)

BACKGROUND MARISCAL ANTONIO JOSE DE SUCRE was the Venezuelan general of Simón Bolívar's troops, who achieved the independence of Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia and who was commanding troops in the independence of Venezuela, Panama and Colombia. This project was born in the Barrio la Mariscal, in Quito, which commemorates this marshal, when Ecuador celebrates 200 years of the Battle of Pichincha, which made the Royal Audience of Quito, the origin of the Republic of Ecuador, independent. The great migratory wave of Venezuelans, and previously of Colombians to Ecuador, brought numerous artists, who work in the streets to survive. ANTECEDENTES EL MARISCAL ANTONIO JOSE DE SUCRE fue el general venezolano de las tropas de Simón Bolívar, que concretó la independencia de Ecuador, Perú y Bolivia y que estuvo comandando tropas en la independencia de Venezuela, Panamá y Colombia. Este proyecto nace en el Barrio la Mariscal, de Quito, que recuerda a éste mariscal, cuando Ecuador celebra 200 años de la Batalla de Pichincha, que independizó a la Real Audiencia de Quito, origen de la República del Ecuador. La gran ola migratoria de venezolanos, y anteriormente de colombianos hacia Ecuador, trajo a numerosos artistas, que para sobrevir trabajan en las calles. En tanto en Ecuador los artistas, sobereviven de manera precaria, siendo parte de las personas que viven la soberexplotación laboral, los malos precios por su trabajo y sus obras.
